Fuga is a surprising collection of rugs designed by Cristián Mohaded for CC-Tapis. The series consists of three models, different in size and geometric shape. Entirely handmade in Nepal.

The Argentine designer, in synergy with CC-Tapis, celebrates the first 10 years of the brand's activity with this extraordinary collection of rugs, a journey through artistic visions, material explorations and dynamic movements. Fuga wants to break the chains of the straight line of a carpet with the breaking of the border from which one can "escape" to discover new horizons. The three models proposed meet the needs of those who love precise and perfect shapes, or those who prefer to dare with geometries without rules.

Born in France, designed in Milan, and produced in Nepal, cc-tapis offers beautiful hand-crafted rugs from some of the world’s leading artists and designers. Each cc-tapis rug tells a story of tradition, quality and contemporary design. At the centre of these stories is a traditional production process where a group of Tibetan artisans work by hand, refining natural materials, passing down artisanal know-how from generation to generation.

Cristián Mohaded

Industrial designer and Artist born in the Argentine countryside (Catamarca, 1980). He has graduated from the National Univerity of Córdoba, He shares part of the time between Buenos Aires and Milan. Nowadays, he is a prolific product, interior designer and art director, and known as benchmark in Argentina design. He is devoted to develop and design products for private clientes, national and international companies.
