Coming into the festive season we are thinking of our loved ones – how to celebrate together and make them feel special. We love to decorate the table with special food and details to create a festive atmosphere. Candles are one of our favourite ways to elevate the sensory experience of dining with friends and family with the beauty and simplicity of candlelight.
We are pleased to share that Stoff Nagel has reintroduced another candle holder from its vintage repertoire – the BMF Nagel design. Originally produced in the 1960s, the BMF design is both sculptural and architectural, with the same enticing quality of playfulness. The BMF Nagel is currently available in a single finish, chrome. We love how it is designed to work with the existing stand module from Stoff.
The BMF design adds character to any festive décor – create a compact design for an intimate setting or an expansive set for a high impact centrepiece. Finish your design with a selection of the stunning candles available from Stoff.
Stoff enhances your table with timeless design, adding a modern and playful element to your experience.
The BMF candle holder is among the most iconic candle holder designs from the prominent design decade of the 1960’s. The candle holder was originally produced by the Nagel company in the late 1960’s, but shortly after its launch it was handed over to the BMF company and produced from 1971 to 1985.
The three-legged stackable signature design is considered a collector’s item in homes around the world – an organic, sculptural object inviting its owner to unfold their creativity in endless expressions. Today the BMF candle holder has joined the STOFF Nagel® collection to continue the vision of rediscovering iconic design.
Whether you're planning an all day family gathering or a simple lunch over the holiday season, Stoff Candleholders elevate your setting with texture and height for your table décor. Choose from the range of unique finishes available to customise your look.
The idea for an elegant metal candleholder was realised through collaboration between architect / design duo Hans Nagel and Werner Stoff in the 1960s. Werner Stoff asked Hans Nagel to create a bold metal candlestick with three legs. The final design from Stoff is now considered a modern masterpiece. An elegant tripod form with crisp detailing and a shiny chrome finish defined the design, however it was the modular ability to stack into highly creative sculptures that made it an enduring international success.
