The N-LC01 lounge chair becomes a hybrid between the dining chair and sofa. By combining the wide armrest from the sofa with the sleek lines and transparent look of the dining chair, we've arrived at a sophisticated and functional piece of furniture that also carries references to the 50’s Scandinavian cabinet makers' traditions.
This lounge chair is one of 12 tailormade furniture pieces that make up the first collection of Karimoku Case Study, the Kinuta Terrace project, all drawing on the natural references of the connected courtyard in an attempt to invite in nature as much as possible — in their design language as well as through their material compositions.
