Måne Wooden Bowl

Milled from one solid chunk of European ash wood, the Måne Wooden Bowl is Anderssen and Voll's version of the tripod vessel found as numerous variations in ancient cultures all over the world.
Inspired by this traditional vessel, the award-winning design duo also drew on playful references in the development of the bowl – "Måne is the Norwegian word for moon. There is something about a wooden bowl that makes us think of red apples. Red apples makes us think of scrumping. And scrumping makes us think of the moon. The space defined by the curvy underside of the bowl and the table top is the beauty of this object – a play of light and shadow."
