This eye-catching chair was designed in 1953. The splayed, tapering legs and wing shaped seat create a resemblance to a mosquito, giving the chair its distinctive name. The curved plywood of the backrest and seat embrace ergonomic principles creating a highly comfortable seating experience.
The Mosquito is a modern design icon and a celebration of Kralj’s ability to create forward focused designs that embraced new materials and modern living. Today the chair still feels as fresh and contemporary as the day it was conceived, ready to be appreciated by a new audience.
