A classic pendant with charm and finesse, designed in the 1950s by the internationally renowned Danish lighting designer, Svend Aage Holm-Sørensen. The rigorous expression means that the Cone pendant can hang beautifully alone or as part of a group, above the dining table or kitchen worktop, or in a dark corner of the living room.
In addition to direct lighting, Cone’s iconic light grooves along the edge of the metal shade provide an indirect graphic lighting effect, which lends character to the design. Svend Aage Holm-Sorensen
Danish designer Svend Aage Holm Sørensen (1913 – 2004) is known for his self-produced lighting designs dating from the 1950s, ‘60s and ‘70s. As a licensed ornamental metalworker, Holm-Sørensen possessed an experimental, yet balanced understanding of materials. His passion for lighting design was evident wherever he was, he would sketch ideas on everything: envelopes, theatre programmes, even tram tickets.
