After following the work of Dilana for over two decades, Christchurch based artist and associate Professor of Fine Arts Simon Ogden expressed his interest in a collaboration. The result was a series of four ambitious works entitled the 'Kaitareti Rose Series'. Simon particularly loves the juxtaposition of textured loop pile versus the rug maker’s take of the paint splotches over the works surface.
My work draws from a long-held interest in European, English and American Modernism and Surrealism. In this I interweave my allegiance to the Arts and Crafts tradition, and the long-standing debate about the definition and role of the decorative in the fine arts.

We were very excited to have some of our Good Form pieces used in a styled feature by the talented Sara Black in the latest edition of HOME magazine. "Good vintage – Classic and modern designs take their place, standing in their own light, space and time."
