For this new color-combination, Mae Engelgeer accentuates the inherent beauty of natural materials.
Created with completely undyed yarns, the iconic and sculptural design of the Bliss collection highlights the wide palette of natural hues available in Himalayan wool. “In this calm and natural version of the Bliss rugs, I show my appreciation for the beauty of nature”. Once Himalayan sheep are shorn, their wool can be separated into a wide spectrum of natural colors, ranging from light to dark tones. Exploring this richness, Engelgeer was able to translate the complexity of the Bliss designs into pure and essential shades, adding a new subtlety to the collection.

The Maker /
CC-Tapis
Born in France, designed in Milan, and produced in Nepal, cc-tapis offers beautiful hand-crafted rugs from some of the world’s leading artists and designers. Each cc-tapis rug tells a story of tradition, quality and contemporary design. At the centre of these stories is a traditional production process where a group of Tibetan artisans work by hand, refining natural materials, passing down artisanal know-how from generation to generation.
