Monoblokk Vase

The Monoblokk Vase embodies one of Nedre Foss’ core values: to make solid objects with one material running throughout a continuous shape. The stretched and narrow form of Monoblokk encourages you to arrange your flowers, twigs, branches or foliage differently than you would in a conventional vase.
Monoblokk juxtaposes a sharp exterior with a soft, rounded chamber. Anderssen and Voll were able to achieve this by pressing the glass into a mould, rather than blowing it. Each vase retains the mould seams, as well as other irregularities left by the mould, as lasting imprints from the manufacturing technique.

The Maker /
Nedre Foss
Norwegian brand Nedre Foss has cultivated a design direction founded in thoughtful, slow living. A curated set of home objects that are intended to be used and equally appreciated as sculptural pieces to enhance the everyday. Founded on the concept of the 'Century Product', the goal is to create objects that will last for at least 100 years and where utility and sculptural qualities are equal parts of the function.
